Felix Lecocq is a queer Vietnamese American writer and the 2026–27 Hoffman-Halls Emerging Artist Fellow in Fiction at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing.

He has received fellowships from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center and the McCormack Writing Center (formerly Tin House Workshop), as well as scholarships and awards from Bread Loaf, Sewanee, Jentel, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and the Luminarts Cultural Foundation.

Felix attended the MFA program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he won the 2026 William Marr Graduate Prize in Fiction and the 2025 Joanna Garfield Award in Nonfiction.

Felix lives in Madison but identifies as someone still living in Chicago.
